Jelawat park

Today I will tell you about one of the tourist attraction in Sampit City. This tourist place is Called Jelawat park you can see in my video.

Sampit residents, especially young people, must have known the icon of Jelawat which is right on the banks of the Mentaya River. The public space which was inaugurated on February 21, 2015 is a place to relax for couples, families, and children. Visitors can also linger in this open zone.

What can tourists do at the Jelawat Statue? Stretch your mind while looking at the scenery and atmosphere around.

The Mentaya River presents Sampit's local culture with a means of passing water. From Seberang Island, you can see the "Welcome to Sampit" gate and riverbank settlements. The landscape of the green zone (trees) signifies that the island still retains natural wealth.

The wind hits when you are in this city icon. Traditional atmosphere also spread with the sound of the boat which adds to its own sensation. There is also the gurgling of the water from the mouth of the Jelawat 'giant'. Many seats available. Want to face the river, sideways, or back, just choose it. Want to be quiet or shaded by trees too.
